BELLE PLAINE - Highland finished its high school football season with a 5-4 record after a 50-14 loss to Belle Plaine Friday.
It all starts up front we once again had a tough time getting yards between the tackles. 'We started out playing OK with the score at 8-6, but we couldn't stop their run game,” Highland coach Joe Donovan said.
Connor Grinstead scored on a quarterback sneak in the first quarter but the Huskies wouldn't score again until the fourth quarter when Mason McFarland took a screen pass 50 yards for a touchdown.
'There was no turning point,” Donovan said. 'They had their way from the start of the game.”
