Highland, WACO compete in triangular

WAYLAND — WACO and Highland wrestling met on the mat Thursday night in a triangular featuring Louisa-Muscatine.

After all was said and done in the competition, Highland picked up two match wins, while WACO suffered losses in both team contests.

Highland’s first win came over Louisa-Muscatine after a tightly contest ended with the Huskies up, 36-34.

The battle between Highland and WACO wrapped with the Huskies on top, 42-24.

Along with the loss to the Huskies, the Warriors were defeated by the Falcons in a slim clash 39-33.
