Highland wins English Valleys Invitational

-ranked Highland boys? cross-country team won its second-straight meet at Tuesday?s English Valleys Invitational at the Knoll Ridge Country Club.

The Huskies, who totaled 53 points, edged Mid-Prairie by two points for the title.

Senior Matt Eden took second place in 18:24 to lead the Huskies, who took second through fourth in the boys? race. Sophomore Evan Mahler finished third in 18:30, and freshman Tucker Hall crossed the finish line eight seconds later in fourth place. Senior Zach Popham came in 19
