Highland wrestlers take part in Hudson Invitational
The Highland wrestling team traveled to Hudson Saturday, Jan. 14, with the three wrestlers placing well for the day.
Cullen Klebe (113) came in fourth place and scored 11 points. He lost the quarterfinals by a 14-7 decision to Jakob Whitinger from Nashua-Plainfield.

The Highland wrestling team traveled to Hudson Saturday, Jan. 14, with the three wrestlers placing well for the day.
Cullen Klebe (113) came in fourth place and scored 11 points. He lost the quarterfinals by a 14-7 decision to Jakob Whitinger from Nashua-Plainfield.
He won the consolation semifinals by fall in 3:54 over Levi Lauer from North Fayette Valley and lost the third place match by a 5-1 decision to Whitinger.
Cory Stewart (132) came in second place and scored 17 team points. He won the quarterfinals by an 8-0 major decision over Izik Rodriguez from Hudson.
He won the semifinals by a 2-1 decision over Max Wettengel from Don Bosco and lost the first place match by fall in 6:00 to Nate Lasher from Charles City.
Brady Hahn (138) came in third place and scored 17 team points. He lost the quarterfinals by a 5-2 decision to Dawson Riemenschneider from East Marshall/GMG.
He won the first consolation round by fall over Jesse Dughton from North Fayette Valley in 1:18.
He won the consolation semifinals by fall over Tristin Gilles from Hudson in 3:58 and won the third place match by fall over Riemenschneider in 1:53.
Highland is host to a triangular Thursday, Jan. 19, against New London and West Burlington/Notre Dame. Action begins at 6 p.m.
