Hillcrest Academy knocked off by North Linn
Ravens season comes to an end with loss to top 10 ranked North Linn

SOLON — Hillcrest Academy’s season came to close on Tuesday night after a 65-43 loss to Class 1A defending state champion North Linn.
The Lynx were red-hot out of the gate. North Linn dropped in 18 points through the first quarter, while holding the Ravens to just seven.
Hillcrest Academy picked it up offensively scoring 15 in the second quarter, but the Lynx still held the quarter scoring edge with 17 points of their own.
North Linn led 35-22 at the break.
The Ravens went on to score the first five points of the second half, but a 12-0 run by North Linn made it 47-27 with just over three minutes to go.
It was 51-32 in favor of the Lynx after three. North Linn went on to edge the Hillcrest 14-11 in the fourth to win it.
Hillcrest Academy was led by Seth Ours with 11 points in the loss.
Hillcrest Academy ends their season at 21-4, and says goodbye to seniors Seth Ours, Bryce Bailey, Mason Helmuth and Mason Bender.
North Linn improves to 22-2 and will play for a chance to get back to the state tournament Saturday when they play Burlington Notre Dame at Iowa City High School.
