The Southeast Iowa Super Conference North saw a pair of all-Union area matchups Tuesday. Columbus took on Highland, while Hillcrest Academy faced Winfield-Mt. Union.
Elsewhere, Keota continues to roll to start the new season. Cardinal and Van Buren County also battled against conference competition.

Hillcrest 53, Winfield-Mt. Union 40
Hillcrest is now the last unbeaten team in the SEISC North after a 13-point win. The Ravens are 3-0 with all wins coming against conference competition.
Colin Anderson led the way for W-MU with 14 points off the bench.
Columbus 62, Highland 47
A 21-10 first quarter set the tone for Columbus, which improves to 3-1.
Landon Roling put up 17 points for Highland in the loss.
Keota 51, Colfax-Mingo 30
The Eagles improved to 3-0 on the young season in dominant fashion. Keota outscored Colfax-Mingo 13-2 in the first quarter and held the Tigerhawks to single digits in the second and fourth quarters. Jackson Vittetoe had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles.
Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 49, Cardinal 39
The Comets are still looking for their first win of the season after dropping to 0-3. They will next face Davis County on Friday.
West Burlington 72, Van Buren County 49
The Warriors couldn’t hold up against a strong West Burlington side. VBC drops to 1-3 on the season.
