Hobbs, McCreight receive MCC track and field honors

Iowa Wesleyan College track and field athletes Ridge Hobbs and Melanie McCreight were recently named to the Midwest Collegiate Conference mens' and women's outdoor track and field all-conference teams for their performances at the MCC outdoor championships.
Hobbs placed first in the long jump with a distance of 23 feet at the championships. The IWC men's team finished the championships in seventh place with 11 points.
McCreight earned the honor after a second place finish in the 400 meter hurdles; she ran the event with a time of 1:06.89. The IWC women's team finished the championships in sixth place with 30 points.
