Holy Trinity shuts out MP girls' tennis, 9-0

FORT MADISON ? Holy Trinity shut out the Mt. Pleasant girls' tennis team on Monday afternoon, 9-0, to drop the Panthers to 1-3 overall on the season.

Kirsten Snyder took her first loss of the season, 8-6, against Emily Lewis of Holy Trinity. Snyder and Britanny Medina were also handed their first doubles loss, 8-2, by Colby Hoyer and Ashley Tinguely.

Abby Skubal picked up the lone win of the night for Mt. Pleasant in a JV singles match, 4-2, over Becca Kokjorn.

Mt. Pleasant travels to Fairfield tonight for a 4:30 p.m. match.
