Horak chosen to play in special game
A Washington soccer player has earned a chance to play in a special soccer game next week.
Owen Horak, from the Washington boys soccer team, has been selected as a defender for the 2017 East-West All-Star Cup. He is the only player from the Southeast Conference selected.

Owen Horak, from the Washington boys soccer team, has been selected as a defender for the 2017 East-West All-Star Cup. He is the only player from the Southeast Conference selected.
The roster for the east team has 18 players on it, from all school sizes. ?This is quite the honor for Owen and our program,? says coach Sally Hart.
This is the second year in a row Washington has had a player selected as Christian Mejia was invited to play last year.
The game vs. the west team will be held June 17, in Des Moines where the Des Moines Menace Premier Development League men's team competes.
