Hostetler dominates

IOWA CITY -- Mid-Prairie's Marie Hostetler dominated the girls race of the Clipper Cross-Country Classic at Kicker's Park Monday.
Mid-Prairie also won the girls team race by a large margin.
Hostetler finished more than 2 minutes, 16 seconds ahead of second place. Teammates Mitzi Evans was third, Moriah Brase fifth and Angelina Evans seventh with Ana Fleming ninth and Kessa Jones was 10th with a time of 23:03.
Clear Creek Amana had the top six finishers in the boys race with Mid-Prairie's Quinn Schmidt seventh. Mid-Prairie finished second as a team.
