Huskies control the county

WELLMAN — Highland wrestling is kings of Washington County, at least for the 2025-26 season.

After going 0-3 in the Washington County quad last season in Washington, Highland swept the duals in Wellman to take home the trophy, and the title, in its second year of inception.

Highland’s closest wins were a 12-point win over second-place finisher Washington, and another 12-point win over third-place WACO.

Washington knocked off both the Warriors and Golden Hawks, while WACO picked up one win, beating Mid-Prairie.
