Huskies dominate All-SEISC softball teams
Now that the summer sports season has ended for area schools, postseason honors begin.
We have already highlighted those from Washington who received honors.
Today we will look at those in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference recognized.
The Conference recently released its list of athletes and Highland leads the area in honors, with six being selected.

Now that the summer sports season has ended for area schools, postseason honors begin.
We have already highlighted those from Washington who received honors.
Today we will look at those in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference recognized.
The Conference recently released its list of athletes and Highland leads the area in honors, with six being selected.
Senior Kelsey Hora was joined by Randyn Carter from Louisa-Muscatine as co-players of the year.
Several others from Highland were recognized as well. Sophomore Megan Hoenig was picked as pitcher on the first team. Sophomore Aly Stokes was selected as an infield player.
The outfield player chosen was sophomore Sarah Schneider and sophomore Abbie Miller was selected as utility player.
On the second team from Highland is junior Brylee Carolan as a utility player.
Highland sophomore Kylie Wood and senior Lindsay Wide received Honorable Mention.
IMS sophomore Rubye Ney was tapped for the second team outfield player, while getting Honorable Mention nods from IMS were junior Avery Blauvelt and senior Calli Shaw.
