Sophomore Brian Garcia rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries, including an 89-yard touchdown run. Senior Derrick Stewart added two rushing touchdowns, while seniors Trey Brenneman, Jake Tate and Brett Walsh each ran for a score. Junior quarterback Kody Wood was 5-for-7 passing for 154 yards and two touchdowns for the Huskies (4-2, 3-1 Class A District 5). Senior Talon McFarland caught three passes for 100 yards and a touchdown, and Tate caught a 53-yard touchdown pass.
Walsh made nine tackles to lead the Highland defense, which held the Warriors (1-5, 1-3 District 5) to 99 total yards. Brenneman made six stops and recovered a fumble, and Stewart had five tackles and two fumble recoveries.
