Ide gymnastics hosts meet at middle school

Ide Gymnastics hosted their annual AAU trampoline and double mini trampoline meet Nov. 10, this year at the Fairfield middle school for the first time ever.
'Thank you to everyone that helped us with all those hours taking money in concessions and slinging and cooking the pulled pork and brisket,” said Jeanne Ide.
There were 110 competitors, including 30 from Ide Gymnastics.
The team took home 26 first places.
Jaxon McDaniel, Ethan Kunzler, Chaz Wohnoutka and Coach Jeff Ide (doing 360's while turning 60 years old) all brought home 1st place in trampoline, as well as double mini trampoline in each of their levels of skills and Nathaniel Merrell brought home a first in trampoline.
Adler Haynes received fourth in both events for his first time competing.
Skylar Smith, Alyson Lilley, Tori Haynes and Coach Marissa Rupe also received first places in both events as well.
Finishing first in trampoline: Coach Shay Smith, Kaylee Wright, Aubree Bunnell, Eva Jara, and Kaley Kunzler.
Finishing first in double mini are Brystol Wiley, Claire Thompson, Hayden Smith, Jaden Haynes, Madison Yarnell and Abigail Pohren.
Receiving second place in trampoline was Irma Jara, while Payton Wiley finished second in both events.
Calleigh Burford received third place in double mini trampoline.
Fourth place was Hannah Gerdes in both events and Paige Bisgard in double mini trampoline.
Fifth place was Manon Kermott and Edith Diers in double mini trampoline and Lexi Wiley in Trampoline.
Sixth place was Gabriella Diers for both events.
Normal meet
Torrance and Jaden Haynes represented Ide gymnastics at the USTA's 'A November to Remember” meet in Normal, Illinois Nov. 18 at the trampoline and double mini-trampoline competition.
Jaden Haynes brought home two third places in both events at the 10-year-old novice level and Torrance Haynes was fourth in double mini trampoline and fifth in trampoline in the 12-year-old advanced level.
