IDE Gymnastics attended the USTA National Championships in Charleston, West Virginia on June 17-22 with the theme of 'Celebrate 48”, the length of time the USTA has been in existence.
The athletes are divided into age groups and skill levels with the competitors then placed into 'flights” of no more than 10.
Scores are then compiled according to their placement against all other competitors in the same age and skill level. Some of these levels total 40 or more girls or boys. The overall top 10 scoring performers receive a trophy and go up onto the podium.
