Ide’s Gymnastics racks up wins

INDIANOLA - Ide Gymnastics of Fairfield tripled up on triple winners when it attended an AAU trampoline and Tumbling competition Saturday.
There were 14 athletes that participated in the meet and there were 19 first-place wins.
Nine of those wins came from three athletes - Marissa Rupe, Ashlynn Adrian, and Reagan Wise. The three hat tricks were in the same three events which were trampoline, double-mini trampoline and power tumbling.
Rupe competed in the elite level 17 and over category. Adrian's 10-year-old wins were in novice level on trampoline and double-mini and sub-novice level in tumbling. Wise was at the beginner level for 9-year-olds in all.
Ide's had three athletes produce double wins, taking first in both trampoline and double-mini trampoline. Leigha Ensminger (beginner level at 11-year old), Skylar Smith (novice level age 11) and Dawson Wiggins (beginner level age 7) all rose to the top of the award stand.
Hailey Reinier (advanced level age 14) and Riley Lathrop (beginner level age 8) won their titles in power tumbling.
A first place in double-mini trampoline was won by Ava Kafar at beginner level age 10 and Ashley Lyons at beginner level age 11.
Trista Benedict (advanced level age 17 and over) finished second in trampoline. Another second place was Temperance Bettin (beginner level age 9) in double-mini trampoline. Hope Barber (beginner level age 7) took second place in both trampoline and power tumbling. Kamryn Tharp (beginner level age 7) finished with a third place in power tumbling.
Ide is gearing up for competitions at the state and national level.
