IMS competes at SEISC Tourney
Area teams competed in their conference golf tournament on Wednesday, and came away with improved scores.

Area teams competed in their conference golf tournament on Wednesday, and came away with improved scores.
After golfing a team round of 467 on Tuesday, the Iowa Mennonite golf team responded with a team score of 413 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference tournament held at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Burlington.
Roman Slabach led the team with a 94 (49, 45), which put him in a tie for 35th place in the individual tournament.
Drake Brezina finished with a 104 (53, 51), Mark Ecklor finished with a 106 (53, 53), Caleb Yoder had a 109 (54, 55), and Palmer Thomas carded a 158 (78, 80) to round out the IMS scores.
IMS finished the meet in 12th place out of 14 teams.
The Columbus Wildcats also competed at the meet, taking 10th place as a team with a round of 368. Ethan Leyden led Columbus with an 87, which helped him finish in a tie for 12th individually.
New London won the conference meet with a 332, while Mediapolis? Charles Jahn scored a 72 to take meet medalist honors.
