IMS hires new softball coach
Iowa Mennonite School announced the hiring of a new softball coach on Monday, naming Kathryn Ney to the position.
Ney will be taking over for Kim Wood, who stepped down from the position after last season.
The new head coach comes to the position, having previously served as an assistant coach for IMS from 2006-08, while being a teacher at IMS.

Ney will be taking over for Kim Wood, who stepped down from the position after last season.
The new head coach comes to the position, having previously served as an assistant coach for IMS from 2006-08, while being a teacher at IMS.
She played her high school softball at Winfield-Mt. Union and spent four years as an infielder at Drake University.
Ney is currently a teacher in the Iowa City Community School District.
