IMS picks up thrilling win at Columbus
IMS scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to earn a thrilling 2-0 win at Columbus on Monday night.
IMS (2-2, 2-2 SEISC North) broke the scoreless tie when junior Jacayla Litwiller hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring senior Naomi Miller home to score. IMS then added a run when senior Laura Hochstetler smacked a double to centerfield to bring home sophomore Demi Brezina.

IMS (2-2, 2-2 SEISC North) broke the scoreless tie when junior Jacayla Litwiller hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring senior Naomi Miller home to score. IMS then added a run when senior Laura Hochstetler smacked a double to centerfield to bring home sophomore Demi Brezina.
Hochstetler went 3-for-3 at the plate, and she also threw seven shutout innings. Columbus (3-6, 2-2 SEISC North) mustered just three hits against Hochstetler.
