IMS swept by Wapello
The IMS volleyball team ran into a tough Wapello team on Tuesday night, falling in straight sets to the Arrows.
Wapello took the match with set victories of 25-9, 27-25 and 25-16, and IMS fell to 8-15 on the season.
Jess Bender led the team with eight kills and three blocks, while Alijah Beatty had a team-high 14 assists and Natalie Graber finished with nine digs.

The IMS volleyball team ran into a tough Wapello team on Tuesday night, falling in straight sets to the Arrows.
Wapello took the match with set victories of 25-9, 27-25 and 25-16, and IMS fell to 8-15 on the season.
Jess Bender led the team with eight kills and three blocks, while Alijah Beatty had a team-high 14 assists and Natalie Graber finished with nine digs.
IMS will move on to face Columbus at home for senior night. In the previous two matchups between the teams (both in tournament play), IMS and the Wildcats have split the matches, with IMS taking a 2-0 victory on Sept. 5, and Columbus claiming a 2-1 victory Sept. 24.
Thursday?s match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
