No. 11 IMS faced a young Wapello squad in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference boys? soccer match on Monday evening and rolled to an 11-0 victory.
After playing two matches at its home tournament on Saturday, and looking ahead to Tuesday?s match at second-ranked Iowa City Regina, IMS (9-2) rested its starters and played some of its younger players. Senior Nicholas Yoder had a hat trick of three goals in the contest, and he also had an assist. Freshman Miguel Sanchez added a pair of goals, while junior Enrique Sanchez had a goal and two assists. Senior Justin Boller, senior Peyton Thompson, junior Spencer Schrock, sophomore Kobi Russom and freshman David Lemon each added a goal, while junior Reggie Hostetler and sophomore C. Bai assisted goals.
