Iowa high school football playoffs

First round games in Classes 2A, 1A, A and 8-man are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22. Digital tickets will be available through the IHSAA Tickets page and go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19.

For the 1st round, there will be 16 contests. Teams will not know their upcoming opponents until all first round games have been completed.

For the 2nd round and quarterfinal round, teams will be placed in pods of 4 and the winner of their game will play the winner of the other pod contest.
