Iowa Wesleyan golf competes at Waldorf Invite

ALBERT LEA, MN. — The Iowa Wesleyan golf teams traveled up to Minnesota over the weekend for the Waldorf Warrior Invitational on Sunday. The women’s team finished sixth place out of nine teams, shooting 405, and the men placed seventh out of eight, shooting 344.
The Tiger women were led by Aubrey Duncan and Michal Wohlleber, who each shot 98 to tie for 20th overall. Natalie Ames shot a 101, for 23rd. Sami Wibben tied for 34th with a 108, and Keelee Razee finished 51st, at 122.
Brevin Wilson shot an 82 to take 19th place, the top Iowa Wesleyan golfer on the men’s side. Colton Sherwood was three strokes behind Wilson, shooting 85, for 34th. Brady Lukavsky finished at 88, which placed him in a tie for 45th. Tate Nelson and Trace White each tied with an 89.
A few Iowa Wesleyan men golfed individually. Bailey Shelledy led that group. shooting 84 to finish in 29th. Nathan Cronkhite shot 93, for 60th, and Kenny Tucker shot a 96, to place him in 67th.
The Tiger men and women will host the Iowa Wesleyan Tiger Classic at Burlington Golf Club on Thursday morning. The action begins at 11 a.m.
