Iowa Wesleyan men place 9th at SLIAC golf tournament

MADISON, Ill. — The Iowa Wesleyan golf team competed in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship tournament on Monday and Tuesday. The Tigers finished ninth in the three-round tournament with a final shot total of 1,056.

Jeff Cox was the top Tiger golfer in the tournament. He shot rounds of 87, 88 and 84 to finish tied in 34th overall with a 259.

Mason Wills finished the tournament three strokes behind Cox, shooting a 262 for 36th overall. Jack Stickels was 42nd overall at 269. Kenneth Tucker finished 43rd with a 272, and Nathan Cronkhite shot 277 to finish 48th.
