Iowa Wesleyan men tabbed fourth

The St. Louis Intercolliate Athletic Association released its preseason men's soccer poll last week and the coaches have slotted Iowa Wesleyan in a conference tournament spot.

After slipping in to the SLIAC tournament last year, the Tigers are picked to get back with a fourth-place finish.

IW was one of four teams to earn first-place votes in the SLIAC poll. The conference's pick to win the league was Webster University, followed by Spalding University and defending champion Greenville University.

Webster, Spalding, Greenville and IW made up the four-team SLIAC field last season. It was IW's first ever SLIAC touranment berth. Greenville wound up winning the league by defeating the Tigers in the chamiponship game.
