Tigers dominate former SLIAC foe in road dual

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Iowa Wesleyan’s men’s wrestling team put a hurting on Fontbonne University on Wednesday night. The Tigers defeated a former St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival 44-3.
The Tigers had three pins on the day. Kyle Thibodeaux picked one up at the 125-pound weight class, in 4:28. Austin Abitua had a 43-second pin at 157 pounds, and Jesus Diaz pinned his man in 2:19 during the 165-pound bout.
The Tiger women were also in action but just for two exhibition contests before the men’s meet got underway.
