MT. PLEASANT — Iowa Wesleyan’s Kyle Moore picked up one more honor to close out the 2021-22 college basketball season. The junior guard was named an All-American in the NAIA.
Moore was named to the NAIA’s honorable mention list after a stellar season in her first year in purple. She lit it up in 2021-22 season, scoring 17.7 points per game and also averaging 6.2 rebounds per game and 3 steals per game.
Before being named an All-American, Moore made history by being the first ever Continental Athletic Conference Player of the Year. She was First-Team All-Conference, was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the 2022 All-CAC Tournament team.
Moore and the Tiger women’s basketball team cruised through the CAC, going 19-6 overall and 11-0 in league play. They earned the top seed in the CAC tournament, dominated three-straight games and earned a national tournament berth.
In the national tournament, the Tigers were eliminated by eventual national quarterfinalist Morningside.
