IW golf competes at Wildcat Classic
Tiger women 3rd, men 4th in meet hosted by Culver-Stockton

QUINCY, Ill. — The Iowa Wesleyan golf teams traveled to Quincy, Illinois, to compete in Culver Stockton’s annual Wildcat Classic over the weekend. The Tiger women finished third in the meet, and the men took fourth.
The Tiger women shot a 381 overall, good enough to beat the hosting Wildcats by 25 strokes.
Aubrey Duncan and Michal Wohlleber coled the Tiger women with a 184 each. Duncan shot 94 in her first round and 90 in her second, and Wohlleber went 92 and 92. The duo ended up tying for 12th.
Sami Wibben finished 17th overall, shooting 196. Natalie Ames tied for 21st, with a 201. Keelee Razee took 31st, with a 246.
The Tiger men finished the tournament at 653, which was behind Quincy University’s B squad but ahead of State Fair Community College.
Brevin Wilson finished tied for sixth overall, shooting a 157. He shot an 80 in his first round, and added 77 in his second to lead the Tigers.
Trace White tied for 14th, shooting 163. Bailey Shelledy and Brady Lukavsky tied for 18th, with a 167.
Kenneth Tucker wasn’t far behind Shelledy and Lukavsky, shooting 169, for 20th. Tate Nelson tied for 21st, at 171, and Colton Sherwood shot 177, for 25th.
