IW women win on the road

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Iowa Wesleyan women's soccer team has won two games in a row. The Tigers picked up another road win on Wednesday night, topping Rockford University 4-1.
The TIgers scored the only goal of the first half when Courtney Mitchell snuck a shot past the Rockford goalkeeper in the 30th minute. At the half, the Tigers led 1-0.
IW poured it on with three-straight goals to start the second half. Emmy Rodriguez scored off a scrumi n the 54th minute, and Grace Alongi scored two goals, one in the 65th minute and one in the 74th.
Rockford struck back three minutes after Alongi's second goal with a goal off a rebound, but it was too little too late as the Tigers moved to 2-3.
Destiny Colon picked up the win in net. She played all 90 minutes and saved seven of the eight shots that came towords her.
