IWC soccer shut out by Fontbonne
The Iowa Wesleyan College soccer teams were shut out by Fontbonne University in their conference openers on Saturday at East Lake Park; the Tiger men lost by a score of 4-0, and the women fell, 8-0.
In the men?s game, Mt. Pleasant alum Bo Vitale took all three of the Tigers? shots on goal. Caleb Winston made seven saves for IWC.

In the men?s game, Mt. Pleasant alum Bo Vitale took all three of the Tigers? shots on goal. Caleb Winston made seven saves for IWC.
In the women?s game, IWC managed just two shots on goal, both taken by Hannah Maledy. Caitlin O?Neil made 15 saves for the Tigers.
The IWC men are now 0-8 overall and 0-1 in the SLIAC. Fontbonne is now 6-4-1 overall and 1-0 in the SLIAC.
The Tiger women are now 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the SLIAC, while Fontbonne improves to 5-2-3 overall and 1-0 in the SLIAC.
Iowa Wesleyan will play again Thursday against Spalding University.
