IWC XC finishes season
The Tigers? cross-country teams competed at the Graceland University Yellowjacket Invitational over the weekend in their last meet of the season. Three Tigers ran to new personal bests, as the Tigers competed four individuals in each of the men?s and women?s races.

The Tigers? cross-country teams competed at the Graceland University Yellowjacket Invitational over the weekend in their last meet of the season. Three Tigers ran to new personal bests, as the Tigers competed four individuals in each of the men?s and women?s races.
The women started the day of for the Tigers, as they ran a 5K course. Breanna Derynck was the the top Tiger as she has been in every race this year. Derynck clocked in at 23:17, good for 34th place overall.
Jaimee Crosby and Becky Wilson were the next Tigers to cross the line as they both ran to new personal bests. Crosby finished 55th overall, as she crossed the line at 26:53. Wilson?s time of 27:26 was good for 56th place. Rounding out the Tigers? runners was Tiffany Cook, who ran 29:47, finishing 58th overall.
On the men?s side, Jacob Ayers finished as the top Tiger harrier once again. Ayers crossed the line in 22nd place, finishing in 30:26. Aaron Tapia ran to a new personal best as he broke the thirty-three minutes for the first time. Tapia?s time of 32:56 was good for 32nd place overall.
Michael Jordan and Lance Ingwersen worked together throughout the race. Jordan finished just ahead, coming in at 35:13 (37th overall), while Ingwersen followed closely, clocking in at 35:32, good for 39th overall.
