Jones jumps for honor

PELLA - The American Rivers Conference recognized Fairfield graduate Malory Jones as the league's Women's Indoor Track & Field - Field Performer of the Week.
Jones, who is a sophomore, competes for Central College.
The Dutch hosted at their own Central College Triangular this past weekend and finished third as a team.
Jones won the high jump against four competitors by clearing 5 feet, 3.75 inches. The jump ranks No. 7 in NCAA Division III this season and sits second in the conference.
It's the first Women's Indoor Field Performer of the Week honor for Jones and the first Dutch to earn Women's Indoor Field Performer honors since Courtney Kruthoff did so Dec. 3, 2019.
