Mt. Pleasant senior Jordan Ashton has signed his letter of intent to attend Northwest Missouri State University and play basketball next season.

Northwest Missouri State, an NCAA DII school, was just one of a number colleges that were interested in Ashton, but after visiting them all, his choice was clear.
?When I visited, I liked the campus, coaches and players,? Jordan Ashton said. ?They offered me a pretty good scholarship as well.
?I look forward to playing at a more competitive level,? he added.
