JV basketball falls to Xavier
The Mt. Pleasant JV boys? basketball team opened the season with a 66-29 loss at Cedar Rapids Xavier.
Nike Phillips led 11 different Panther scorers with five points. Carson Remick grabbed five rebounds and Beau Parkevich had four steals.
The team?s next game is Friday at home against Fairfield in a freshmen/JV/varsity tripleheader.
