JV softball takes two vs. Davis County
BLOOMFIELD ? The Fairfield JV softball team continued its strong season with another doubleheader sweep at Davis County Wednesday evening.
The Trojans won game one 14-5 and game two 15-2.
In the opener, Madison Roberts had three hits, Mackenzie McClure added two more and McKenna Ledger drove in two runs with a double. The Fairfield offense had a total of 10 hits.

BLOOMFIELD ? The Fairfield JV softball team continued its strong season with another doubleheader sweep at Davis County Wednesday evening.
The Trojans won game one 14-5 and game two 15-2.
In the opener, Madison Roberts had three hits, Mackenzie McClure added two more and McKenna Ledger drove in two runs with a double. The Fairfield offense had a total of 10 hits.
Katrina Jackson was the winning pitcher as she gave up three hits while striking out three.
Fairfield won the nightcap in three innings thanks to the mercy rule. Ledger was 2-3, Brianna Gridley hit a double and drove in a run and Harley Cook and Cheyanne Laux each had a single.
McClure allowed two hits from the pitcher?s circle to earn the win.
Next up for the JV team is a doubleheader at home against Mount Pleasant beginning at noon Monday.
