Keokuk no problem for Fairfield
Trojan boys skate by Chiefs for eighth victory of the season

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield boys basketball had it going on Friday night it Fairfield against Keokuk in a Southeast Conference clash.
The Trojans outscored the Chiefs in all four quarters on the night on their way to a 78-45 win.
Fairfield set the tone in the first quarter and never looked back.
The Trojans tallied a total of 25 points, while giving up just 15 to the Chiefs. For Keokuk, that would be its highest scoring quarter of the night.
In the second, Fairfield continued to hold onto its advantage as the Trojans won the quarter 13-9.
After two periods of action, the Trojans led 38-24.
Out of the break, the Trojans put together its most efficient offensive quarter of the evening as they scored a game-high 28 points to the Chiefs 12, pushing their lead to 66-36 heading into the fourth.
In the final quarter, Fairfield sealed the win by outscoring Keokuk 12-8.
The Trojans JJ Lane went for 29 points in the win. Max Weaton followed with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Ryan Higgins ended with 12 points and eight boards. Tate Allen finished with nine points. Myles McEntee had seven, while Sam Weaton, Luke Konczal and Riley Perkins all had two.
The victory moves Fairfield to 8-8 on the season and 5-4 in Southeast Iowa Super Conference play.
