Keokuk outbowls Panthers, Demons

KEOKUK - The Mt. Pleasant and Washington bowling teams couldn't knock off Keokuk on their home lanes on Tuesday. The Chiefs finished on top in both the girls and boys standings.
The Chiefs topped Mt. Pleasant 2,895-2,521 in boys and 2,948-1,999 in girls. Washington's co-ed team scored 2,078.
Mt. Pleasant's boys tam was led by Levi Svoboda, who finished the day at 427. Cole Wohlleber rolled a 352. Nolan Myers rolled a 345. Style Haeffner finished at 334. Jonathan Fortin rolled a 299, and Alec Payne finished at 252.
Tori Hixson was Mt. Pleasant's top girl with a score of 191. Megan Smith rolled a 146. Morelia Elias-Sixtos finished at 138. Eden Svoboda rolled a 137. Danielle Muhs finished at 127, and Addison McGehearty ended the night at 119.
Washington's co-ed team was led by a couple Zieglowskys. Ethan Zieglowsky rolled a 463, and Caleb Zieglowsky finished at 438.
Aidan Miller rolled a 252 for the Demons. Jarred Hoyle ended the day at 206. Erika Williams rolled a 142, and Zakkary Hesseltine finished at 70.
