Keokuk outlasts Fairfield boys
After Pasha Bousquet scored five goals in two Trojan wins on Saturday, there wasn?t quite enough offense left in Monday?s loss to Keokuk.
Bousquet scored the lone goal of the game, but the Chiefs had too much in the end and escaped with a 2-1 victory.
?We?re just short a little manpower,? said Fairfield head coach Roeland Hekker. ?We can keep up at the beginning, but by the end of the game we?re a little tired.

?We?re just short a little manpower,? said Fairfield head coach Roeland Hekker. ?We can keep up at the beginning, but by the end of the game we?re a little tired. Keokuk had five or six players they can sub in without losing anything on the field ? we can?t do that.?
Jacob Lantz had the assist on Bousquet?s goal. Fairfield will play their regular season finale at Fort Madison on Thursday.
Lucas James, Haven Tichy and Josh Posner all scored in the JV?s 3-0 win.
