Keota boys 8th, girls 12th at SICL track meet
Both conference titles won by Lynnville-Sully

SIGOURNEY — The South Iowa Cedar League conference track meet team championships were swept by Lynnville-Sully Tuesday. The girls ran to an easy win with a 39-point margin over second. Keota was 12th. The boys edged North Mahaska by a point and a half. Keota tied for eighth.
Bryce Greiner’s throw in the shot was one of two first places for the Eagles. His distance was 41 feet, 9 inches.
Wyatt Sieren’s winning lap was timed at 52.7 in the 400 meters.
Brady Duwa was third in the long jump at 19-4¼ and fourth in the 100 with a time of 11.6 seconds.
Madison Scott’s 200 time of 29.3 earned the only point for the girls team.
