OSKALOOSA — The Keota boys’ golf team battled in a competitive South Iowa Cedar League golf tournament on Monday, and when the dust had settled, the Eagles finished the tournament in second place.
Just 14 strokes separated the Top-3 teams in the tournament. Montezuma finished on top of the league with a first-place 352. Keota was just seven strokes back, at 359. The Eagles nipped third-place English Valleys (366) by seven strokes.
The Eagles were led by a trifecta of medalists. Colten Clarahan, Cole Kindred and Billie Kindred all made the stand.
