Keota falls to No. 9 Meskwaki Settlement
Ninth-ranked Meskawaki Settlement School jumped out to a 13-point lead after one quarter of play, and that lead was too much for Keota to overcome in Friday?s Class 1A Region 5 semifinal. The Warriors held off the Eagles for a 55-49 victory.
Sophomore Brooke Sieren scored a career-high 13 points to lead Keota, which finished its season with a record of 15-9. Junior Kelsi Sieren added 12 points and nine rebounds.
