Keota picks up pair of volleyball wins
BROOKLYN — Keota closed its regular season with two wins Thursday in the South Iowa Cedar League Tournament Bronze Quad.
Keota, 9-15 record, took down 3-23 Tri-County 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-21) and English Valleys 2-1 (25-13, 18-25, 18-16).
Madison Scott notched 11 kills, Taylor Kindred 17 kills, two blocks and Nicole Clarahan tallied eight kills, 15 digs and two aces for Keota. Kim Clarahan had 20 digs and five aces, Cassie Swantz had 27 digs. Macie McDonald’s hustle produced 25 digs while Makenzie Jackson had two kills, two blocks and two aces.
