Keota softball stumbles against English Valleys
Eagles struggle at plate against Bears
NORTH ENGLISH — Keota softball suffered its second straight loss of the season, coming from the hands of English Valleys Wednesday night, 13-1.
It was a tough night at the plate for the Eagles as the Bears threw a no hitter.
Keota was able to get one run across home plate, but English Valleys had the bats going as well.
The Bears finished with five total hits and six RBIs. The other seven runs were unearned.
With the loss, Keota drops to 0-2 on the season. They will play Sigourney (3-0) on Friday.
