Keota swept by Belle Plaine
Eagles lose three straight to Plainsmen Monday night
KEOTA — Keota volleyball was in action on Monday night as the Eagles played host to the Plainsmen of Belle Plaine.
It was a tough out for Keota as they fell in three straight sets to the Plainsmen.
The Eagles got better as the night went on, but were defeated by the Plainsmen, 25-13, 25-15 and 25-23.
With the loss, Keota has now lost three straight matches without winning a set.
It’s also the ninth time in a row that Belle Plaine has gotten the better of the Eagles.
Keota falls to 6-7 on the season.
Following the Lone Tree Invitational Quad on Tuesday, which features WACO, Cedar Valley Christian and Lone Tree, the Eagles will take on Colfax-Mingo (3-9) on Thursday with the hope of ending the slide.
