Keota tops Belle Plaine for second time this season
Keota extended its winning streak to eight games on Tuesday night with a 46-36 win over Belle Plaine in a Class 1A Region 5 quarterfinal.
Junior Kelsi Sieren had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles (14-8), and she also had four steals. Senior Logan Woltering added seven points and four steals, and sophomore Madison Sieren had seven points, six rebounds and three thefts.

Junior Kameo Pope had 17 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks to lead Belle Plaine, which finished its season with a record of 15-7.
The Eagles won two of their three meetings with the Plainsmen this season. Keota also won 45-37 in Belle Plaine on Jan 18.
Keota advances to Friday?s regional semifinal at ninth-ranked Meskwaki Settlement (19-4).
