Keota volleyball dinged in SICL home match
Belle Plaine sweeps Keota in conference play

KEOTA — Keota dropped a 3-0 decision to the visiting Plainswomen of Belle Plaine 25-10, 25-22, 25-13 in South Iowa Cedar League action Monday.
Taylor Kindred had two blocks for the Eagles, and Keota teammate Cassandra Swantz had seven digs. Mackenzie Jackson aced two serves. Macie McDonald had three assists.
“We struggled quite a bit with serve receive and didn't talk as well as we could have,” Keota head coach Debra Swantz said. “We have made some changes during practice. Hopefully this helps for our game against English Valleys on Thursday.”
Belle Plaine Plainsmen have a record of 3-7 overall and 1-0 in the SICL. Keota is 4-4, 1-0.
