KEOTA - Tri-County couldn't keep up with Keota's boys or girls basketball teams Tuesday, especially at the start.
The Eagles flew out to a 16-4 lead after one quarter of the girls game and 25-8 in the boys. Tri-County had 12 points at the halftime of both games with Keota's girls at 23 and the boys at 34. The girls led 38-21 after three quarters and won 44-27. The boys outscored the visitors 21-2 in the third and won 62-20.
'We played a great first quarter,” Keota girls head coach Jeff Sprouse said. 'We really executed well. The next three quarters were hit and miss as we were not sharp with our execution. Overall, we won the game but have plenty to work on.”

Keota teammate Bailey Sieren produced 10 points, five rebounds and three steals while Madison Scott had eight points, three steals and three assists. Nicole Clarahan added seven points, four rebounds and four assists.
Carson Sprouse went 7-of-9 from the field including 3-of-5 from long range for Keota 18 points and added five rebounds, four steals and two assists. Brady Duwa put up eight points, four steals and three assists. Bryce Greiner went 5-for-7 to finish with 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists.
