OTTUMWA - Saturday was a busy day for wrestling. Fairfield and Sigourney-Keota competed in Ottumwa's Invitational.
Sigourney-Keota finished sixth in the 11-team meet and Fairfield was ninth.
Sigourney-Keota's Jack Clarahan won the 160-pound bracket. He has a record of 22-2 this season. Teammate Aidan Schuster (20-6) was second at 182. Cade Striegel (19-5) was third at 182. Cade Molyneux (7-4) placed fifth at 170.
Fairfield's Cohyn Roach (4-2) finished second at 138 pounds. Theodore Metcalf (3-2) was third at 182. Payton Cline (4-2) was fifth at 145. Logan Adam (3-3) was fourth at 152. Cesar Smithburg (4-2) was fifth at 220.
