Kids, adults race at 4-H event

Washington County 4-H held its fifth annual 5K and one mile walk/run in honor of National 4-H Week. It was held at the Washington County Fairgrounds. There were 59 runners and 13 age groups. Logan Sieren was the overall male winner with a time of  22 minutes and 13 seconds. The female winner was Angie Sieren in a time of 23:41. Ethan Patterson won the Age 10 and Under group. The 15-18 group was won by Emma Keith. Nolan Burke topped the 19-29 group. The 30-39 group was won by Jamie Flynn. First place in the 40-49 division went to Shawn Larue. Anita Moore took home first in the 50-59 age group. The 60-and-over was won by Cathy Kleese. The one-mile winner was Lilly Fariss with a time of 8:17.
