Lady Wolves drop game at Mediapolis

MEDIAPOLIS -- The Winfield-Mt. Union girls' basketball team had a tough night at Mediapolis on Friday. The Bullettes knocked off the Lady Wolves 61-27.
W-MU trailed 21-6 after one quarter and 41-14 at halftime. The Wolves scored just four points in the third quarter and were down 52-20 after three periods, before splitting the fourth quarter 9-9.
Jenna Buffington had seven points, eight rebounds and four blocks on the night. Jobey Malone scored seven. Ali Cockerham finished with five. Jami Wilkerson and Liana Sweezer scored three points apiece, and Kyndal Townsley ended the night with two.
